Volkan Taşkın’s Conference on Religious Architecture
Studio Pines’ co-founder Volkan Taşkın was one of the speakers on “Contemporary Religious Architecture on the Mediterranean Basin”, a series of conferences focuses on different approaches on religious architecture in countries around the Mediterranean.
Held at Saint Pierre Church in Istanbul, the one-hour-long speech focuses both on previous projects designed by the Pines and their recently finished Nizam Mosque, giving the audience a broader vision on Taşkın’s unique approach to Mosque design.
